Tuition, Fees and HOPE information
Tuition and fees
- $368 for one course a semester
- $688 for two courses a semester
- $1008 for three courses a semester
For HOPE qualified teachers, HOPE will pay tuition, some fees, and a limited book allowance. The book allowance can be used to cover the fees not covered by HOPE. However, if you take more than two courses per semester the book allowance may not cover all the fees.
To qualify for HOPE teachers
- Must be a Georgia Resident
- Can not be in default on a student loan
- Must have some HOPE eligibility hours remaining
**SACS requirements for teaching college level mathematics/science course:
- A master’s degree and 18 graduate semester hours in mathematics/science. Math/Science methods courses will not satisfy this requirement. To teach mathematics the 18 hours of graduate courses must have a mathematics prefix and the science courses must have a science prefix. To teach Children’s Literature you will need 18 graduate semester hours with ENGL prefix.
The applicant for a part-time teaching position at Darton College must:

- Submit unofficial copies of college transcripts
- Complete a transcript analysis form
- Once the faculty member is hired and given a course to teach, they must send official transcripts to Darton College.
