County health departments to begin offering seasonal flu vaccine Sept. 6
On Tuesday, Sept. 6, Southwest Health District’s 14 county health departments and two county farmworker programs will begin offering seasonal flu vaccine at $25 per dose again this year, with both shots and nasal spray forms of the vaccine available. Press Release (PDF)

Give Kids a Boost
The Georgia Department of Public Health and the Georgia State Patrol are partnering to "Give Kids a Boost." This statewide campaign is aimed at educating parents of the new state law effective July 1 that requires children up to 8-years-old be properly secured in an approved car or booster seat.
